Load control

During 2025, TEROC has further developed load control technology for several different applications:

For a grid backup system that we have delivered, we programmed a Cerbo GX from Victron with Node-RED, so that excess energy from solar cells is used for heating (inter alia with AC ELWA 2 from my-PV). The diagram below shows how well this works, as the pink bars for consumption during daytime closely follow the yellow bars for production from solar cells.

Another solution for use with the public electricity grid is the Shelly Pro3 Smart Switch to control the heating of an accumulator tank based on the electricity price and indoor temperature. We have made a further developed script for this publicly available.

For more advanced applications, we primarily work with a platform from the German company Arigo, which enables communication with a variety of communication protocols.
