Control system for wind turbines
TEROC has during a couple of years developed a minimalistic control system for small wind turbines. It has been successfully tested on one of the early JBA-15 (15 kW rated power). Today we have published the control program as free software. In addition, technical documentation for the JBA turbines has been released by the company JBA Vind AB under CreativeCommons license on their website (link to content in Swedish). All in all, most of what is needed to maintain JBA turbines, or build new ones, is available as "open source".

In addition to the Wago PLC that we programmed, a protection relay from Ziehl is used, which we also sell and configure to fulfill local requirements.

Update 2025-06-24: A new version is developed, with adaptive control to avoid overvoltage in weak grids.
